TEHRAN – The bodies of three crew members of the oil tanker Sanchi, which sank off east coast of China, were scheduled to arrive home on Wednesday morning, Iran’s consul general in Shanghai announced on Sunday.

Speaking with IRNA, Alireza Irvash said the bodies are being flown to Imam Khomeini International Airport after going through legal procedures.

Carrying over 136,000 tons of gas condensates, Sanchi collided with a Chinese freight ship in East China coast on January 6. Bodies of three out of 32 crew members were found before the tanker sank on January 14.
